Theia Cloud IDE on Heroku using Docker
Eclipse Theia is a framework for building tools and IDEs. With certain modifications, one can set up an IDE just like VS Code using Theia.
I thought of a way to make a free cloud IDE using the Heroku platform. So I created this repo that contains a docker file to set up Theia on the Ubuntu server. One can just click the deploy button and docker will create a beautiful IDE on Heroku free plan.
A few months after I made this repo, I received an email from Zeet cloud CEO (Johnny Dallas) to make a deploy button for the Zeet platform and he also offered me 50% of every deployment from my repo.
